2024-25 Season

SCFMusic is excited to announce the 2024-25 performance season

SCF is proud to have a strong music program and to be the only college in the region that offers music courses and a complete 2-year transfer program for students pursuing a degree in music.  The music program offers something for everyone including music lessons for community members, opportunities for all college students to participate in ensembles, and a wide array of public concerts featuring SCF music students. Become part of the experience by attending concerts and supporting the next generation of musical artists.

Thank you to all of our supporters, donors, and patrons for your continued support and attendance at SCFMusic events.   If you would like to learn about ways to support SCFMusic, please talk to a music faculty member or see below.

Please consider donating to the “Music Theory and Piano” fund which supports tutors and other needs for core music courses.

Support SCFMusic

1) Come to concerts!  Your ticket proceeds go directly to the ensemble(s) performing in that concert.

2) Tell your friends.  Invite them to a concert and share the SCFMusic app with them.

2) Consider a Donation through the SCF Foundation:

Please consider these current needs of the Music Program:

  1. Music Theory and Keyboards Fund (currently “Piano Studio Fund”) - The current need is to create enough funding to support the Music Theory Tutor scholarships.

  2. Music Enhancement Fund - funds to meet a variety of expenses for the music program, but this year we need to help with the increased travel expenses for the FCSAA Music Symposium.

  3. Music Theatre Ensemble Fund - to support the higher costs necessary to produce large productions.

Click the link below and don’t forget to select or comment your choice of funds.
